Mit Easy-Life Excital können ohne den Einsatz von Antibiotika oder Verbindungen, die Kupfer enthalten, Cyanobakterien entfernt werden.

Cyanobakterien (rote Schmieralgen) treten oft auf, wenn die Temperatur des Wassers gestiegen ist, manchmal auch in Verbindung mit einer hohen organischen Belastung des Wassers oder Verrottung im Bodenmaterial. Excital bekämpft konsequent Cyanobakterien. Excital ist einfach und sicher im Gebrauch und unschädlich für Fische oder Korallen. Wenn der Befall groß ist, ist es ratsam, erst so viel Cyano wie möglich manuell zu entfernen und danach sofort Excital zu verabreichen. Wenn nötig, kann das Produkt einige Tage in Folge gegeben werden, auch in doppelter Dosis.
